It turns out that the V0.0.4.2 version is missing a texture reference at 0x7FD7C0, and it cleared it out. If you are familiar with hex editors, you can copy the data block from 0x7FD7C0 of the original ROM to 0x7FDCE0 in the new ROM to fix the issue by hand. Otherwise I'd suggest using V0.0.5.0, since it has corrected the missing texture reference.

I've been reading through this thread, and this program looks great! Smile  Keep up the excellent work!
(I wish I could contribute to development, but I have Absolutely No knowledge of C# programming.   Sad)

I finished my translation and now it's crashing in the same segment...
mib_f8sm9c, can you repair this again? Thanks for all.
And I have another problem in "game select":

I tried using Pitstop 64 v0.0.5.0, but it crashes when i open a rom (New Project)

Sorry I'm late to reply to this (and the other thread too). I'm in the last couple of days before opening night at a musical, which means I'm either at work or rehearsing the show until 10PM each night. Saturday afternoon I'll finally have a bit of free time to jump at this stuff (unless I can squeeze in some time at work).

For the rom crashing, the rom needs to be the USA version, and it has to be .z64 (big-endian). If your endianness is incorrect (.n64 or .v64 formats) I'd suggest using Tool64 to fix it. Let me know if it's crashing on a USA .z64 MK64 rom, because that should not be happening at all.

(Also make sure that all the dll's included with the Pitstop64.exe are included in the same directory, or else it'll always crash)

Unfortunately I have to wait Undecided

Alright, I fixed the rom I think: https://www.dropbox.com/s/svnn2fo4rty7fsq/Mario%20Kart%2064%20%28PL%29%20%5B%21%5D%20%28crashing%29%281%29%5Bfix2%5D.z64?dl=0

As for why the option selection isn't showing up, you've made a mistake in making the images. The backgrounds of the menu items are transparent, not black. If you export one of the original menu images and look at it in a program other than Paint, you'll see what I mean. You need to make sure that the background for those menu options are transparent, or else it will not show the highlight graphic when you play it.

Many thanks...
When I change image from black to transparent I see white background...

Help! I can't figure out why I can't export a rom with more than 1 custom character.
Also when I try Pitstop (V.0.0.5.0) it crashes when loading a rom or project.

Can anyone help with these problems.

I've been planning on making an update to iron out bugs and other things left behind. I think I need to accelerate that schedule, since there's been a lot of problems.

I'll be more available tonight, but what exactly is happening? Does the ROM not export/the program crash when exporting, or does the ROM not load correctly in the emulator? Are you using a fresh, unchanged (USA) .z64 MK64 rom every time you load up, or are you using the .romproj to save your data? If you can't get it to work, if you want to send me your character files, I can try debugging with it.
