Hey y'all, posted up a new version of Pitstop just now on the first post of the thread (0.0.5.2). Using that, you no longer need to use the Patcher to fix the post-race crashing bug, it'll already be handled. So now this way the text names for your karts can be maintained.
And I put up some developer notes on the first page too. The TL;DR is that I'm officially putting Pitstop64 work on hiatus while I work on queueRAM's N64Split so that I can use that as the basis for the next iteration of the MK64 editing software. It'll probably look the same, but relying on N64Split instead of my Cereal64 library should make things easier on the backend.
I can still handle bugfixes if you need them, but don't expect new features for a while.
as if I haven't said that before

I would like that pistop or some other program could create patches to then apply them and that people can upload their patches and this way everyone can test the work of others and above all that would allow patch patches already patched in case people wants to keep adding things in the future. is it possible to add any such feature to your mib_f8sm9c program?
I can make this a long-term goal, it wouldn't be hard to do so. Only problem with patches is that you can't use multiple at once. I think currently ppf patches are what you're describing:
