Basically this is a simple ASM Hack which brings back the normal GFX letters J, V, X, Z, Q and the beta key HUD. The true purpose of this however wasn't to bring back the lost HUD textures. This was actually made for a person who wanted to know how it works and well, I released it now so everyone can look into it. Also, if you want to see this running, you either need to download my PJ64MM as this used the even more extended RDRAM memory or you need to go InsertGFX.asm at line 67 and change LUI A2, 0x80C0 to something below 0x807F (in case you use the normal PJ64 emulator). If you want PJ64MM, download it here:
Project64MM v2.1
The file needs to be assembled with CajeASM v6.03 or higher.
CajeASM
Instructions:
1. Patch BPS file to a clean, unmodified SM64 ROM. (Should be 8MB big) Use FLIPS for this. (Apply Patch -> select Patch, then select ROM)
2. Use CajeASM and select your patched ROM and the ASM file (main asm file: InsertGFX.asm).
3. Press Patch!
4. Enjoy.
