Has anyone ever been able to switch an instrument TO a percussion channel? It's not clear how or if this can be done if I want to modify an instrument list to include the percussion bank. Thanks!

Wait somebody tell me if I'm wrong, but setting a channel source to 0x7F effectively tells it to play from the percussion channel yeah? Will test this and confirm.

Yup that's how it works, has nothing to do with that sound tool. The percussion bank is shared amongst all instrument sets. How weird and esoteric!
