The Lvl stat increases as you complete challenges that are based on specific Pokémon types. For example, by knocking our X number of Pokémon using water-type Pokémon. You can view your progression toward the next level by clicking on the icon shaped like a person. It will take you to your level progress and from there you can click one of the energy symbols to see your progress toward the next level.
