Issues or pauses in the game are often caused when the network connectivity has become slow or unstable. You can check to see if this is happening by changing your phone’s connection (for example, by using a different Wi-Fi access point) or by trying in different locations or at different times of the day.
If this does not resolve the issue, your device may be running out of memory. You can attempt to free memory by doing the following:
- Close Pokémon Shuffle Mobile, then reboot your device.
- Close all the other open applications.
For iOS:
Press the Home button two times quickly. You'll see small previews of your recently used apps.
Swipe up on each app's preview to close it.
For Android (4.x and 5.x):
Go to [Settings]>[Apps]>[Running] to find applications you want to close, and then select [Force Stop] for each.
- Re-run Pokémon Shuffle Mobile.
