If you get Banjo working well, I was thinking that it'd be cool to have lots of BK64 characters (I thought Mumbo would be a fun player too ), and then down the line it'd be fun to have a Banjo themed level or something. Unfortunately my laptop isn't working quite right at the moment so I can't give making my own kart a try.
I was thinking it'd be cool to get some more "bad" characters (as I've mostly done heroes) say...Gruntilda. When you get your laptop up and running have a peek at the Blender file - please don't hesitate to contact me if things are a little vague, it's not setup in the most intuitive of ways but I'm big on learning and would love to see things that other people create.
Personally I'd like to make more battle stages. Mario Kart gets played weekly at my place (despite having all sorts of other consoles and microcomputers etc.) because it's just a great game!
